processing guide

The processing guide should be used as a reference only. Some adjustment may be needed depending on product design and ambient conditions.

Step 01

Pre-drying

Absorbed moisture can degrade properties during moulding.

<0.02%Target moisture content before moulding
  • Moisture absorbed at room temperature≈ 0.2 %
  • Target moisture before moulding< 0.02 %
  • Tray dryer with hot air> 4 h at 120 °C
  • Pellet layer in trays≤ 3 cm
  • Hopper dryer inlet air100–120 °C (avoids re-absorption)
